The new extension of the residence Léon d’Andrimont is definitely worth a detour. The new wing is very bright thanks to the large windows that give access to terraces open to all residents, including wheelchair patients.
The expansion introduced numerous innovations. The number of rooms has more than tripled (from 41 to 140 rooms) and the residence also has a reception unit now for dementia patients, 6 service flats and a day care center. The ground floor has a brand new restaurant with a capacity of 95 people. There is also a hairdresser, a physiotherapy room and two terraces.
The corridors, rooms and different living spaces have been painted in bright, cheerful colours. The Haelvoet furniture comes in vibrant colours too that do not leave room for gloom.
