Haelvoet continues to invest in sustainable energy
Sustainability is key at Haelvoet. Recently, 664 additional solar panels were installed on the roofs of the production halls.
This new installation, with an additional capacity of 298.8 kWp, significantly increases the self-generated energy.
At the end of 2019, solar panels had already been installed on the roofs of the office building and the high-bay warehouse, with a capacity of 225.70 kWp. Thanks to these additional investments, Haelvoet now generates 95% of its annual electricity consumption through solar energy, a significant improvement from 35% in the past.
This step is part of a broader sustainability strategy of Haelvoet and contributes to an energy-efficient and environmentally friendly production environment.
