The optional integrated weighing scale of the Nora bed enables precise patient weight measurement with an accuracy of 100 grams. Since the load cells are built into the carriage, the weight measurement is accurate in every position. Changes in height and inclination of the mattress platform (such as Trendelenburg and Reverse-Trendelenburg) do not affect the weighing accuracy. Accessories and other elements can be easily added or removed from the bed without altering the weight.

The fixed IV rod is mounted in such a way that the IV rod and the amount of infusion fluid do not affect the weight. Patients, for whom it is clinically crucial, targeted weight control can simplify many important decisions. Additionally, it helps in recording weight evolution and fluctuations.

For additional support during transport, the bed can optionally be equipped with WeAssist™, an innovative mobility solution from TENTE and LINAK. WeAssist™ detects the push and steering impulses applied by the user to the bed and provides intelligent assistance for almost every manoeuvre. Thanks to smart software and the TENTE Integral Assist wheel, the hospital bed can be moved significantly more easily, without the need for a second caregiver.
